Ownership & Use

  • Adventure Trailers are designed for durability and low maintenance. Routine upkeep includes checking and servicing wheel bearings, brakes, suspension components, and tires, as well as inspecting seals, electrical systems, and plumbing connections annually. We also recommend periodically checking fasteners and any moving parts to ensure everything remains secure and trail-ready. Following standard RV and trailer maintenance practices will keep your unit performing reliably for years.

  • Adventure trailers are designed with insulated water systems to help protect against cold-weather conditions. However, if the trailer will be stored in freezing temperatures or not in use for an extended period, proper winterization is still recommended.

To winterize, the water system should be fully drained and protected from freezing. This includes draining the fresh, grey, and black water tanks, bypassing the water heater, and circulating RV-safe antifreeze through the plumbing lines. Batteries should be properly charged and stored according to manufacturer recommendations, and the propane system should be turned off.

We’re happy to provide detailed winterization guidelines specific to your build to ensure everything is properly protected for the season.

  • With proper care and routine maintenance, an Adventure trailer can last decades. Our composite construction and steel frame eliminate common issues associated with wood rot and structural breakdown, significantly extending long-term durability. Like any vehicle, longevity ultimately depends on usage, storage conditions, and maintenance habits — but these trailers are built for the long haul.

  • Composite exteriors are straightforward to maintain. Wash with mild soap and water using a soft brush or cloth, and rinse thoroughly. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that could damage the finish. Periodic waxing (if applicable to your finish) can help maintain appearance and UV protection. Keeping the exterior clean and inspecting seals regularly will preserve both aesthetics and performance.
